Ibrahim Wazir
Ibrahim Wazir has taught Mathematics at Vienna International School, the American International School in Vienna and at Webster University, Vienna. He has been an IB Mathematics Assistant Examiner, Chief Examiner and a member of the Curriculum Committee. Ibrahim founded the International Schools Math Teachers Foundation (ISMTF) and inScholastics, an organisation that runs workshops for students and teachers in Vienna.
Tim Garry
Tim Garry has taught Mathematics from middle school to university since 1984 and has been Head of Mathematics at three international schools. He has been an IB Examiner for the external and internal assessment, a contributor to IB curriculum reviews, a Workshop Leader, and a member of the Higher Level (HL) Mathematics exam writing team. Tim also frequently delivers workshops. He currently teaches at the International School of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Jim Nakamoto
Jim Nakamoto taught Mathematics at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Vancouver, Canada, from 1974 until 2011. He is still an active Senior Moderator for IB HL Mathematics, having been the Principal Moderator for 12 years. Jim is also a Team Leader for HL Paper 3, an IB Workshop Leader and a T³ (Teachers Teaching with Technology) instructor presenting workshops on technology and the IB programme.
Kevin Frederick
Kevin Frederick has taught secondary Mathematics and Programming at international schools for the past 15 years. He has been Head of Mathematics at four schools on three continents, and has delivered a range of workshops. Kevin currently teaches at the American International School of Lusaka, Zambia.
Stephen Lumb
Stephen Lumb has taught high school Mathematics for over 20 years, mostly in international schools. He is an IB Examiner for HL Mathematics and has been a Moderator for HL Explorations. He has also led IB workshops in Mathematics. He currently teaches at the United World College of South East Asia, Singapore.
Byran Landman
Bryan Landmann is currently Head of Mathematics at the Franconian International School in Germany. He has been teaching IB Mathematics for 12 years. He has been an IB Examiner for Paper 3 in IB HL Mathematics: Calculus, has moderated internal assessments in HL Mathematics and has taught Theory of Knowledge (ToK). He runs teacher workshops in Mathematics and ToK for the Association of German International Schools.
