Jason Elder, Patrick Erickson, and Amanda Trenholm are passionate about working with students and are excited to have collaborated with each other to bring financial literacy to the grade 9 Math curriculum. With a combined twenty-nine years of teaching grades 7 to 9 Math and Science, they strive to create resources for their classrooms that are engaging to students and reflect real life scenarios. Being lifelong learners, they have all attended numerous workshops on project-based learning, assessment, universal design, and incorporating technology into the classroom. Jason has also presented these topics at several conferences and Patrick has completed his master of education with a focus on project-based learning. Outside of the classroom, Amanda has been heavily involved with athletics and all three of them enjoy coaching and mentoring students through sports. They each currently reside in Kelowna BC, Jason with his wife and two young children and Patrick with his wife and daughter.
