David Bouchard
Series Editor
An acclaimed author of children's books, David Bouchard is also a champion of literacy. This former teacher and school principal has written more than 50 books. Many of them combine poetry, prose and visual arts, and explore topics such as the environment, history and the traditions and cultures of Canada's Indigenous communities. A storyteller and sought after public speaker, David travels across the country to promote the importance and joy of reading and writing. In April 2009, he was named as a Member of the Order of Canada for his contributions as an author and an advocate who has championed the cause of reading and writing, and who has shared his pride as a member of the Métis community.
Robert Cutting
Series Editor
Robert Cutting has been an educator for over 34 years. Prior to his retirement in 2006, he was a Program Consultant for the Durham Catholic District School Board where he continues to be a member of the Aboriginal Education Advisory Circle. He has been an author of educational books since 1973, publishing over 100 titles—from award-winning textbooks to stories for children of all ages. Robert is of Kanien'kehaka (Mohawk) ancestry.
David Booth
Literacy Consultant
David Booth is Professor Emeritus at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, where he has trained teachers to use innovative ways to promote literacy among children for more than 30 years. At present, he is also the Elizabeth Thorn Chair of Literacy at Nippising University. A popular international speaker, David has delighted thousands with his energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to all forms of literacy. He is the author of many books for teachers, parents, and children.

Robyn Michaud-Turgeon, M.Ed. (Anishinaabe) is a teacher, curriculum author and consultant specializing in ESL and Aboriginal Education. She has worked on several projects to promote Indigenous perspectives across the curriculum and create culturally-relevant spaces for Indigenous students within the public education system. She currently teaches for the Thames Valley District School Board and the University of Western Ontario.
