The central question for Our Catholic Community 1 is: What does it mean to belong to God’s Family? There are eight titles to support exploration of this inquiry. Click on the titles below for a description of each title.
Little Books
- Supports integration of Catholicity throughout the school day
- Promotes critical literacy

- Teaching Card for each little book to support guided reading
Range of extensions for reading, writing, oral language, media literacy, and word work
Shared Reading CD-ROM
- Digital versions of each little book fro projection and use with interactive whiteboards
- Wordless versions of each little book to support writing, and oral language development
- Lesson Plans offering 3 teaching options: introducing the text, comprehension strategies, and reading/writing connections
