Research and Validity
Elementary Mathematics in Canada: Research Summary and Classroom Implications examines the current status of mathematics education in Canada and offers some practical ways to make a difference. The report summarizes key research findings of best practice, suggests implications for the classroom and for professional development, and helps educators with the task of defining and shaping implementation plans. Since changes in teaching and learning of mathematics are ongoing, the report can also support further discussion and initiatives.
