NEW! Bug Club Morphology (Grades 2-6)

Morphological awareness empowers students as both readers and writers. When the teaching of morphology is explicit, students significantly increase their vocabulary and better understand both the structure and spelling of words. They further develop their abilities in both word recognition and reading comprehension. With its engaging topics, authentic reading material, and comprehensive lessons, these kits provide everything you need for cohesive, integrated instruction in morphological awareness.

In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action (2015), each kit includes at least three student cards written by a First Nations, Inuit, and Métis author.

All three Indigenous groups are represented in each kit.

In addition, all cards and lessons were reviewed by at least one First Nations, Inuit, or Métis reviewer and an independent reviewer.
