Il s’agit de l’édition française de 2011 du manuel intitulé Aboriginal Peoples in Canada, écrit pour le cours d’études autochtones de 10e année (NAC20) du ministère de l’Éducation de l’Ontario. Ce livre destiné aux élèves est une oeuvre collaborative d’éducateurs des Premières Nations, inuits et non autochtones. Le résultat est un livre d’histoire de 416 pages informatif, respectueux et intéressant par son format et son contenu. Le texte comprend un glossaire utile, un guide de prononciation, un index, des prières de début et de fin, des salutations et au revoir dans plusieurs langues autochtones.
