MCP Early Chapters Books help beginning readers make the smooth transition from picture books to full-length works of fiction and non-fiction. Each level offers 10 fiction and nonfiction books for a stimulating cross-text reading experience. The titles in each level are separated into four age-appropriate themes and feature dynamic, recurring characters. Students are increasingly challenged with gradually longer text segments, less picture support, and increasingly advanced words and concepts.
