Overview
The Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment kits are diagnostic assessment tools to measure student reading and comprehension ability with a reliable, universal screening that is aligned to Leveled Literacy Intervention, and determine each child's instruction level for guided reading according to the Fountas & Pinnell A-Z Text Level Gradient™.This one-on-one assessment systematically matches students' instructional and independent reading abilities to the F&P Text Level Gradient™. The assessment tools help teachers to make informed instructional decisions on behalf of students through the use of Running Records that provide insight into levels of accuracy, comprehension, and fluency.

NOTE: Workshop is designed for school systems who are currently using BAS as a diagnostic reading assessment and or schools implementing Leveled Literacy Intervention Systems.
