in the teacher site, every book in the spark reading library has a one-page teaching note

to access the teaching note for a book, click the more icon and select teaching notes
every teaching note includes a brief overview of the book and a section for genre, text type, vocabulary, and text features
there is also a unique teaching tip related to the book
if a book connects to a subject area or curriculum, there will also be a connection section that specifies some subject area connections you might want to consider
the teaching note also tells you where the interactive activities are within the book and the associated comprehension strategies
finally, there are three to six extension activities
each extension relates to a comprehension strategy or is an inquiry activity
at least one of the extensions will be suitable for students to complete at home
