resources and components in the
mythology family
mathology provides joyful and positive
math stories for both educators and
students as it's built by and for the
canadian math community it's research
based and reflects diversity of canadian
classrooms it's designed to address the
different contexts and student needs
it's flexible and it empowers teachers
here you see all the pearson mathology
resources found from kindergarten to
grade 8.
it begins with the academic research and
professional learning resources
from there all the student materials
in print can be found at the top
starting with the mathology little books
from kindergarten to grade three
the activity kits from grades one to
three and the math maths from grades
three to six
all of this is powered by the digital
tool mathology.ca
for kindergarten to grade 8
and grade 708 currently in development
pearson's learning progression is built
on the big ideas of teaching and
learning and math that reflect each
provincial curriculum
and all of those mathology resources are
built upon the learning progression here
you see a variety of little books and
activities as they span across
kindergarten on the left-hand side to
grades three on the right hand side
grades 4 to 9 work in the same way
mathology little books include 72 titles
across kindergarten to grade 3 with
approximately 16 titles in each grade
they are organized by the big ideas in
math across all the strands and
incorporate indigenous connections by
authors and educators across canada
they've been adapted for french and are
accessible in both print and digital
formats
the mathology activity kits include over
100 activities in each grade
accompanied by 50
colorful engaging student cards that
include built-in differentiation
again all of these have been adapted for
french and they come with the pearson
learning progression
the mathmats span grades 3 to 6
and come in a spiral bound book with
over 30 templates that students can
write on and wipe off to show their
thinking
mathology.ca is a teacher platform that
provides access to resources from
kindergarten to grade 8.

each unit begins with a little book
and is followed by a series of
activities ending in a consolidation
task
