Introduction okay I guess we'll get started just introduce myself I am Barbara melodic I'm the marketing manager for FSL at Pearson I want to thank all of you for joining us today this is exciting for us to be presenting mythology to you and I'm very excited to have Jordan Sloan with us today and when I pass it over to you Jordan but before I do I just wanted to mention that if you have any questions throughout if you just write them in the chat then I will be answering them in the chat or we will answer them out loud if we have the time to do so otherwise I think Jordan's gonna have some time at the end for questions as well so without further ado I pass it over to Jordan okay hello everyone welcome to mythology so today's session is going to be in English but going through the French Immersion mythology the French program and I would like our session to be a little more interactive so there are going to be some chances for you to get involved and to give some ideas and some answers in the chat so that everyone could be part of this so here's our first interactive piece and it's a Interactive piece picture from one of our grade two little books and I'd like you to in the chat how many paper clips do you see and how did you count them I'll just give you a few seconds and Barbara you can let me know what kind of good answers we have perfect so do we have anything I don't have the chat on here so do we have anything to and he answers any good ideas to share okay let me see we do have I had my hat my chat hidden so I just realized I was wondering where it was so we have the answers of 73 73 by twos 72 70 counted by two groups of ten hard to tell boxes are covering it okay um so I guess you can't see the paper clips just gonna I also see 73 41 on the first slide Rosa four by five and then doubled it and added the large one okay so you can see that there will be lots of ways to use a slide like this to interact with your students to get some conversation going both in the classroom and in the current situation that we're in which involves us doing a lot of online and I'm going to take a moment before we go on to introduce myself so I am Jordan Sloane and I am a bilingual literacy coach in Renfrew County and I started working with Pearson when they started with Jordan Sloan mythology in French with my kindergarten class and then I moved I Roenick Lee as Pearson moved so as the grade one kit was developed I happened to move to grade one and then integrate two before moving to where I am now and they asked if I would try to miss out with my students and I brought it to my class and I brought it to a group of students that had decided that they loved math but were not going to speak French did not speak French will not speak French would definitely not read in front and after a few weeks when I just play video one of my students this is one of my students who told me regularly he did not speak French that was one of my grade one students we've been working on the book for a few weeks but you can see how seeing that and seeing how his interest in reading came along with the math I got really excited the students in my class got really excited and so we really delved into using mythology so I'm going to show you a little bit about my students as we go but I'm going to focus a lot more today on how you can use mythology right now with your students whether you're using Google classroom or however whatever platform you're teaching and how you can use it even at home with your children so we'll start with just a quick overview of what is mythology so it is a math program that is based on the curriculum based on research and based on real hands-on situations so you can see in the one side of the screen we have our professional development section so we've got all the research that led to mythology and then all of the resources that you as a teacher can use we've also got our learning progression which we'll talk a little bit more about in just a few minutes over to the other side we've got the resources that we have for the classroom so we've got the activity kit for grade 1 grade 2 available in French grade 3 I believe coming soon and the little books which I'm going to show you you have access to at this time online so fiction and nonfiction and there are 72 little books with teachers guides all available and to bring it all together we have method OGC a the online platform where we can search we can plan we can teach we can evaluate we can assess and we have a little bit of professional development in there too so we're going to look into that because you can access a free trial of to use with your students at this time and you can access these little books online so everything in mythology is research-based and it all comes through Learning Progression our learning progression which is a step-by-step look at the way our learners develop understanding about different math concepts over time so it's this progression this learning progression covers K to 3 and it is the foundation for mythology developed in Canada by dr. Lynn mcGarvie at the University of Alberta and it's organized by strand so you can see at the top of this one is number but all five strands are included and then it's subdivided into the big ideas with then threads and indicators so we'll wake everybody up Interactive Question again and ask you another interactive question so how many erasers do you see and how did you count those erasers so I'll just ask you to write in the chat we have a counting theme going today take a few seconds you you okay so 55 times 10 equals 50 five times - yep five groups of ten five times ten fifty counting by fives and counted the columns in a row I also just want to answer the one of the questions that came up which is that today's presentation will be in English and yes tomorrow's will be in French and this is a complete French resource okay so we're gonna get right into the resource that you can actually access Online Resource from home right now you can look through everything you can get a free trial at this time when you sign up and it's metallurgy points eeeh and I'm going to show you how to navigate and I'm going to show you all of the things that are available so it is an online platform that gives you all of the pieces of method OG so that you can simplify and Online Platform work through your teaching so you can see that all the little books will be on there all of the activity cards from the kit will be on there she's also going to be videos you have access to the black line masters as well as some planning so Search I am going to walk you through let me see my screen here see if I can make this screen big so this is our homepage for method og so you can see that I'm signed in and I'm going to show you you is first off to search so the most straightforward easiest way to find what you're looking for is to search in the search bar so you can come over to the search bar and you can type in whatever keywords you're looking for so we're gonna stick with counting today we're gonna search and you can see that it's gonna pull up 54 results for counting as we go through you can see that there are math little books there are activity cards that you can use there are some black line masters there are some mini lessons and there are some 10 frames and some reusable multi-use cards so based on those 54 results if we want to lower down what we're searching for a little bit more we can go to grade so under grade there's a drop-down and you can see that we've got kindergarten and we've got grade one with grade two coming soon and then grade three we can also search by type so we can search by if we want an activity if we want some consolidation or if we want to use a little book we want to look at a lesson in intervention or an introduction and then on the end we have all of the strands so if we wanted to find a grade one resource and we wanted to look at a little book we can see that we're now down to 12 results for grade one little books about counting another way to search and I'll go back to my home screen is to search by curriculum Expectations so you can see that I am on an Ontario program right now but there are curriculum setups for every province just so happens that I'm in Ontario so you can see I've got all my strands I've got number measurement geometry and spatial sense patterning and algebra and data management probability and below them I've got my overall expectations if I go to the arrow and I drop down I can see all of my specific expectations and then from there I can choose one of these magnifying glasses for the specific expectation and will bring me back to my search results and show me what little books activities and cards go with that specific expectation so you can see I've got four results two little books and two activity cards I go back I search the other way from my Learning Progressions home page that I can search is by that learning progression that I mentioned earlier so I can look through the strands and those big ideas and the threads to find activities based on that learning progression so just as an example down again and you see what the learning progression would look like so chunks of that so if we're looking for saying the names of numbers in order and counting backwards from 10 we can click on the magnifying glass and see that there's a little book that will help us with that the next thing I'm going to show you is some of the lessons that you can find on Lesson Overview Bethany GA and I'm going to start by showing you a little look this is one of my favorite stuff exists and when we click on a little book it brings you to this opening page and you can see we've got our apropos so what it's all about the details and our connected resources so we have a little overview of what our book is about and we can see that it's grade one it's a little book and it's in the number strand we can keep going down the page and we can see how it's related to the math so exci aces clash heads is compos a to equalization Scots is we can see exactly how this little book fits into the curriculum so what the overall and specific expectations are the operations and then that link again to the learning progression so this little book is going to go into two big ideas from our learning progression and you can see where we fit in those indicators so that's the overview then right into the details of the lesson so Lesson Details we can see the little book we can have some ideas for sharing for discussion in the classroom as well as links towards the version without text so you can write in your own and we've got some ideas for how to present the little book here's reading at this time you have Reading access to all of the little books from k2 grade three so I'm going to show you how to do that right up at the top of your method Ogier you can see it says pick CD but I do metallurgy so if you click on that bar it's going to open you up to a Pearson page where you have access to English and French and you can scroll down and see the little books that have been added so there's books for kindergarten for grade 1 grade 2 and for grade 3 and they're available both in French and in English the same books so if we go through our grade 1 section you can see all the strands through here and we're gonna look at suffix is so I'm gonna click on the book Jordan can I interrupt you for a second sure can one of the questions in the chat is how can the cards be used by learners at home do they have to print them off many households don't have printers so is there is there anything that we have in the programs or the carts so you can hold the cards from the mythology and I'm going to show you that after we get through the little book I'll show you how to pull the lessons from there and then they can be printed and you can print them into a PDF and load them into Google thank you okay so from the little books you can listen and read the little books by clicking on the first button up here and it's going to open up the little book for us we can have our students reads through we also know that in immersion classrooms not all of our students and not all of our parents are great with French so we can actually listen to the story being read with Panetta blu-ray a dupe any dramas voila vada pav a man was a liar with triskin VA for this I am Cleo a jerk ulraj easily blu-ray any form was answered over to penny jacques de ja vu de paneer bhurji free file server open into blu-ray hmm Cody Anthony de Foix was poor Jacques so we can see that the language is set up for immersion it's not just a straight translation of the English to the French it's a little bit more simplified and that the reading is slow enough that most of our students would be able to understand in an immersion setting there's also the option to try an activity so the activity again we can listen cobia the blues pufferty's you avakov entertainer please kill kazuto saleh graded this tom root a patent el dueƱo me let us see do this key mark Rumple agree do this bow very few click to raineesha lizzy show to the whole Bianca there's also some information up here with math concepts that's available for parents and for teachers and then if we go back to our Parent Info main Pearson page again we can go through and we can see that there is a parent info button for every book so if we click on that parent info button it's going to open up a letter with ideas for parents to practice and to use the little book at home so activities that they can do based on what has been read so the letter comes in French but it also comes in English and on oftentimes there are activities from black line masters that go along with it so this is from i beliee so there's our math mat and a way to model our little book so After the Reading that's our fast way to go through that's a quick go through of our lesson press F exists and how we're going to use those little books so those are available for free on Pearson's website at this time and you can share them with parents and students in your class we can go to the final tab here for our after the reading so after the reading what things we can do there's also additional activity options with reproducible sheets so we can go through all the way they're available in PDF and in word so if we click on we can see it opens up and here's a game that we can play and then if there are connected lessons they will be here you can see over on the right side of the screen professional development so if you want to learn more about number addition and subtraction you're going to click on that video and it'll show up for you here [Music] how many muffins do you see did you count add or multiply in this video we'll explore the learning pathway for the big idea quantities and numbers can be added and subtracted to determine how many or how much outlined in Pearson's learning progression several mythology resources such as this great - little book support students in developing understanding and fluency of addition and subtraction so that's a quick overview of how we're going to work with the little books and the lessons that are available on mass-energy Picea I'm going to show you does anyone have any questions about the little books at this point before we move on to the activity cards there's nothing coming up in the chat alright so if anything comes up just let me know we're gonna move on to an activity cards so this is one of my Activity Card favorite activities and anyone who's talked to me before knows that this is supposed to be according to the activity card a very quick beginning of the school year lesson and my students played this card and practice this card in centers the entire grade one year last year it was just constant practice about counting on counting back counting forward and they just they loved it so again we have our overview our details we're gonna look a little bit about assessment just quickly and reconnected resources so you can see our overview up here we've also got how much time it should take and the format that the activity takes place in we've got our grade 1 activity for number and we've got some general information about the content of our lesson Jordan can I interrupt you for a second yeah Questions it's about going back to the books and somebody is asking if you would recommend giving access to one book at a time or two all of them it would depend on your goal if you wanted your students to focus on something in particular then I would assign a book I think they're gonna get access if you give them access to the site they're gonna have access to everything so it just maybe give them access to everything and then have them focus on a certain thing in whatever it is that you're assigning great thank you and the next question is how many total little books are there in French and is each little book available in English there are 72 little books from k23 and they are the same books in French in English they are not translated they are adapted for immersion so they are available all in English and then when you click on the tab to French you'll see that all the same books are available in French but the language is not just a straight translation they really works Pierce work really hard to make sure that the language is accessible to our immersion students I just want to mention one other thing that's it for the questions but I think there's a number of people on here that may have thought this was about the English resource and I just wanted to mention that Jordan is just speaking about mythology points ayah or the French resource we do have English webinars available as well on our website the next one in English for the English program is on May 6 then you can just register from our website for that thank you I will say that it does work quite similarly from French to English so if you watch the overview of method as you point say you're going to see that when you go into mythology CA it works about the same way so the lessons with the little books the lessons with the cards the search functions you're going to see that it all lines up so back to the activity card we're seeing again our curriculum links what operations were using and our learning progression so our big ideas and where we are with our indicators when we go Details back up to details we can see the actual cards so we can see at the top in red what strand we're working on it so we're working with number we can see the materials that we need and we also have a direct link to any black line masters that we might need in PDF and words so if you click on those it'll take you directly to the black line masters that you need to work with your students from here you can see our three-part lesson so the steps to go through before during how to differ she ate so our accommodations are extensions we can see how we can get Accommodations just a little bit deeper a little bit more into everything and what we want to have our students notice when we are in the classroom situation and things that we want to notice in the the behaviors of our students when they are working the bottom we've got I'm I can't even think of the word in English kiss sound Epiphone SMAW so questions just to dig a little bit deeper into our students thinking and then we've got our actual Teacher Cards cards at the bottom here so when we pull up our teacher cards you can see the whole lesson you can see on the back what we're going to use to work through our assessment of our students behaviors as well as the next steps at the bottom here The Game the game itself so this is side a it's counting former words once your students have the hang of that you can move to side B and work on counting backwards and this is where that print function comes in so we can click on that print to PDF bring it to our Google classroom and then we can have it posted for our students so this may not be one of the activities that you would want posted because they do need the hands on to play the game itself but many of the cards are things that you can post like the counting interactive pieces that I have posted that you can then use to work with students at home I'm gonna quickly show you evaluation because it's one of my favorite parts and this is the assessment piece and I Evaluation know it's not super relevant right now so I'll just quickly show you but when you do get your free trial I encourage you to check this out this is going to bring you to those behaviors that we saw in the back of that teacher card and next steps and we can quickly move our students into the area we want so I'm going to click say these four students and say they are here and it'll show me quickly where those students are whereas these two students are here and the student is here so I can quickly see where my class is and I can look up the next steps for them get overviews for my class when I go through the evaluation at the top so this is just for the card itself but you can see an overview of your class as a whole as well as for each student as a whole from here we can move into are Connected Resources connected resources so we do have many lessons so if we've looked at those next steps we have many lessons for the current year we have many lessons for intervention and for because she's small so we've got what the mini lesson is what the practice would look like on here as well as the materials that we'll need with links from here we've got possible misconceptions and suggestions and we've got some after the lesson so if you were in class what you could do but next steps that could be taken at home so if parents are looking for more some things that you can give them in again that's that printable option right there some idea is if we're doing math word walls and then connected lessons at the bottom so if you are a big reader you can read your way through all of this the other option is going to be to watch the video that explains Elia bokudoh shows ok Ludovic let a attention paid onset activity observe Adele fasten vasilev diplays lapels Dodger lady blast a darkness pass Aleph wa totemo trailer correspondence are sooo busy still Lenora dispose afar our soul grabbin vous pouvez Eagleman observe a the Galveston was a level account console counterparts I'll turn on es kim de plus Lapierre so long nombre es aqui para cube new morality I thought cat sank a ravine on sweet pecan tea about cell genome cat saying sis said to it nerve so you can see videos like that as you move through your lessons as well as again that professional development that link in there so the video that you can watch Jordan yeah I'm not sure the answer to this but do you know if the activities Can you attach activities to Seesaw can be attached to seesaw I mean can you attach a PDF to seesaw course screenshots because I'm sure you could if you printed the activity as a PDF then you could attach it I don't I'm not super familiar with seaside tend to stick a little closer to Google thank you Quick Tips all right so just some quick tips about mythology points oh yeah you can have favourites so if you find that activity that you just love there's a quick way to put it into your favorite so if i go back to my home screen have however i've searched for my lesson however i found them so if i'm just putting everything up there and i find a lesson that i just love i'm gonna go over to the little heart on the side and click favorite just click on it and it's going to add it into my favorites from there i can go into my favorite tab and i can see all of the lessons that i've made my favorites i also have the option to pin lessons on my home screen just by clicking the little pin at the bottom so by taking it away i just click it and say i want to put a new one up so i really want to add this lunch my home screen today i've put it up there and when i go back to my home screen i can see that it's right on the end as soon as I log in I can see what I'm working on there's also the option here to look at some plans so when we move down we can Plans see that there are long-range plans that are available for grade one and there are the copic house fall down on side so a couple of big number ideas and all the activities and little books that go with that so counting right here we wanted to go to skip counting or composing and decomposing there are a few ready-made things that all fit together books little books everything that fits together there are several more options on the english site and if you're good and you just want to see an overview you could look at those plans and come back into the french side and pull those resources in french as well and just quickly you can look at that assessment Assessment piece so you can see the activity that we did you can see quickly where my students are that we're still working on it and you would see all the way through if it's something that i needed to pay more attention to if something students had done quite well with and then I can see for each of my students where they have fit with all of their difference so you can see right here that Fred needs some attention are there any questions about method OGC a you know it was a lot of info all at Question once my my way back over to our PowerPoint here and if you do have any questions feel free to write them in the chat we're just gonna finish our way up here no sorry we do have a question about permission about recording reading a little book that and then sharing it on Google classroom if they need permission and I will have to get back to you on that because I'm naturally not sure I have another question here is how is it with split one two classes so I will say when it comes to reading the little books the advantage that you have is that you have the access to have the books read already on the website so you don't need to necessarily be the one to read them in terms of mixing the the grade one in the grade two or the K and one I found it quite easy to work with the mixed grade so I did teach the sk1 and then I moved into the one too you can see that the books do move through the concepts where some of your students will need a little bit more practice and some will be ready to move on so you can find a lot of those correlations um and you'll see as you move to the end of grade one and into the beginning of grade to where those concepts all fit together obviously it was my easier in a classroom setting to work with those groups of students any other questions about methodology points to say ah so just another counting question for you how many purple dots are you seeing and how did you count them and I'll add in so now we've seen an example from two little books what grade do you think this little book would be geared towards any ideas all right well I'll give it away it's a kindergarten book so you can see some of the counting options so just quickly in our last few minutes to go over where we find everything so there is the link here to find those little books they are available in French and in English with the parent letter with the activities that go with them and books are being added all the time and again students can listen and there is that option for the activity so students can play and practice can you show how to assign activities and post them online it's one of the questions how to assign the activities and post them online like in a Google classroom setting I'm assuming Google classroom yet not quickly that's more of a Google question so this is a quick way to pull the materials you'd have to play around in your Google classroom itself to assign the activities and I think you would have to download a PDF yeah so there it's and the question has also come up about seesaw so whether it's seesaw or Google um I think you'd have to post it as a PDF to it yeah so you put the PDF of the activity you can also put the link then to listen to the little books and to the links to pull anything up that you needed beyond that hi Kim you are open did you want to respond to this hi I'm Kim and I also work at Pearson so I've just been kind of supporting from behind behind the scenes here hi Jordan how are you doing in so a couple questions about the permissions and about using it we get this question a lot so this is obviously pertain about to the here and now and not necessarily in the classroom so on the open web site and I think Barbara can post that link there is a missions tab shows you the all the permission information that you need to know and I know Jordan works hard at her board to understand all the different permissions that better needed so that she is there so then the other question is about you know how do you take this information that is a teacher facing material it was built for teacher facing it was built for teacher planning to now be student and parent friendly and so that takes work on on the teacher side and the board side to say I have an activity here or I have an activity card or a student card and I would like my students to see it they're not in the classroom I can't project it on the large screen so the the main option is on the activity cards there is a green button and that means print so if you click that green button for printing a panel opens up on your computer that says you can save it as a PDF so if you haven't done that cycle before it's as simple as green picking our green button it'll say print I don't know if Jordans Jordan you can pull it up and do it the same way as I'm talking I'm working on it yep oh I know this is a common question and it's like this is great stuff but how do I use it so here is here's the lesson and so here is a student card so there's the green button on the bottom right you can print the if you press dye you should get a window about a PDF and so you can save it there on the top right as a PDF onto your own computer and then you upload that and I'm not familiar with seesaw but you can upload that into a Google classroom you can up let load that into brightspace you can send that as an email PDF so again you know obviously a PDF looks like this there is ways to once you save it and upload it in the PDF way you can rotate it so that's all kind of technology after use of information but that's kind of the best way to get this information showing on a screen for parents thank you sorry to interrupt Jordan it's just have such a common question thanks Kim Thank You Kim Jordan I have another question here our school is new to mythology we just purchased a whole lot of activities books and lessons is there a recommended order to go through the lessons so if you look through the annual learning plan for a grade one and that was available get myself back here I should've just stayed over there when you go through the plans you can see that there are annual or long-term long-range plans that are suggested on here so if you clicked on those you can see what you would go through and in what order and how you would cover them so I tried this plan start to finish with my grade ones two years ago when I had a full grade one class and we started with 2d shapes in September and I loved it it I've never started my year not doing number and it was such a nice way to start my year with my grade one French immersion class so I loved this plan but it'll go through what to put together for you and when you look on the website you can see it laid out quite clearly in terms of what books you're gonna use what cards you're going to use and then the centers that you can use for practice and there are different options that you can just so there's three options here and if you look on Pearson's website you can see that there are quite a few different options for all of the grades are there any other questions we just got a question about doing a one-two split what is the best way to do this and is it following that annual plan for both graves so the plan is out there correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that there are some split grade plans on the website they English or in French so you do have access on Pearson's website and I just look it up every time as Pearson method OG that you do have access to all of the black line masters that you can look through and there are examples of plans so there I just got a note from Kim that there isn't yet anything for split tonight it's not it's not up there yet okay I also want to answer there was a question about if this if this webinar today will be posted and yes it will it's being recorded and it will be posted and you will receive an email probably tomorrow with a link to the recording thank you so I got up on the screen just some guidelines for sharing so in the online Guidelines setting just a quick overview of copyright at this point and just as a reminder you do have access to those little books online you can share that with parents you can get your trial of method Ojibwe SIA and there are some more upcoming Upcoming Webinars webinars so there's this same webinar tomorrow in French and then into next week there's going to be a webinar on method as you play it but focused on fluency could I just want to say one thing is that all of the webinars that are up on your screen nail are all focusing on the French product whether the webinar is English or French it's the French product that it will be on and I believe that one of those fluency ones will be in English May seventh or May 11th yes it will be delivered in English but it will be the French content all right well we're at Conclusion about the end of our 45 minute time does anyone have any questions before we sign off I'm going to unmute everybody so if you do want to ask your question or put it in the chat it's your choice I think you should all be able to ask your questions if you want to right now and if you don't then I will just check the chat is there quite as is there a lot of question to somebody want to ask will there be any total like English webinars I'm assuming you mean on the English resource and yes if you go on oh I think I mentioned it before I think it's May 6 if you go on our website I will see when the next one is in English for the English resource sorry for mythology in English the next webinar is May May 6th any other any quite any more questions well I want to give a big thanks to Jordan thank you so much for sharing with us today and thanks to everybody for coming and if you like I said we will be sending you an email with a link to the recording and you can also ask any questions at any point so thank you very much and you will and check out all our other webinars either in English learn French thank you everyone we are staying around here for a few minutes so if you do have questions you can ask them out loud if you want oh yes I just I just questioned just came up about the the link for today's recording and yes I had mentioned it we will be sending that out probably tomorrow morning so thank you okay so it's just you and me okay um that was great so we had I'll have a figure out the math but we had I think we had about 19 join okay and then I think we lost a few and I think for most of it it stayed at around 13 I think there was some confusion with the it being in English I think people thought because it was in English that it was the English resource right so there was a lot of confusion there but I'm still really happy with the turnout good and whether they can't like I don't really can't like if they came and thought it was gonna be about the English resource they really could have stayed for the whole thing because it's so similar mm-hmm but hopefully they'll go and register so there was a lot of activity in the chat and a lot of questions being asked the same question over and over so I would respond each time send out the links the lots of questions about the free resources the one thing that I did want to mention to you was that your screen and I'm assuming it's your screen look I don't think there's anything you can do about it but it was blurry so when you were showing a lot of things like it was you could see like when you were showing pic like you're in presentation mode but when you went into mythology points they uh it was like if you were clicking on something and there was like six options it was all blurry really yeah hmm so when during the video tomorrow then I'm sorry about maybe using the video tomorrow instead of doing it live the thing about doing it live is that if you have to go back and like hmm I don't know I'm just I'm thinking out loud here but it was I thought maybe it was my computer so then I did I messaged him to see if it was blurry for her and she said it is but um I I think you could even if it being blurry you were shall we you were in a live program you were showing um that you had different choices and and so they couldn't read all the words but even if they couldn't what wouldn't matter when they go to go into it because it's gonna be all new to them anyway right so I don't I don't know if it's I'm pointing it out but I don't know if that means we need to do anything differently okay maybe tomorrow I'll try to make sure every single other thing on my computer is closed yeah see if that makes it different at least a difference and and we can try it beforehand mm-hmm I don't I don't think that that should really I mean you were in the program you could see what you were doing you were talking about everything that you were doing I think there shouldn't have been any problems with getting the gist of what you were doing if somebody was trying to follow along and then mimic what you were doing they wouldn't be able to like that would be difficult cuz they can't see it but other than that I really think I don't know I like you doing it live I mean I think it has a good purpose because you can always go back and show something again if someone didn't know or yeah so there was a lot of engagement I thought it went really sorry oh good yeah I'm glad you went really well did you did you not think it did or did you think it you know I did I it's hard it's really hard for me to do webinars because I kind of go with the people in the room yes yes so when there's what I'm not getting that I find it wasn't me talking I find hard yeah I never know yeah no I totally get it I really do think it was it was very engaging and I think they I don't know if I think there was a few people that had said that they are already tried like they've tried they're trying it and so they were trying to find great too and they couldn't and that's because rate too isn't available but then you were talking about great to books yes those are available because we've made those for free but they're not in the platform yeah so I think there was I mean I think that I think sometimes and in this format it's really hard for people because mythology is so convoluted it's there was trying to make sense of it I think was difficult for people but the fact that they were even trying was telling telling to me that they're really engaged or trying they're here they know what they're talking about because they're trying to get access but they can't find the great to books can can they ask if you could show where the great to books are in mythology points say yeah but they're not there so I then had to say well you won't find them there you will find them where Jordan was talking about on the free site yeah that link at the top that would work yes well I like that you went kind of there first maybe it's just maybe like I don't I think maybe slowing it down slightly just like just to say it again but this this is different than what's in the platform right okay I'll write that in my notes for tomorrow and I wonder like tell me what you think here is do we like is this confusing what today's presentation was in English like do we need to be more specific that the resource is an English resource and a French resource and we're doing webinars in English and in French for the French resource like does that I think I'd like to say it but do you think we need to say that up front I think maybe because I think people are just moving so fast right now that they're not reading the difference between mythology picea and mythology that's EA they're just seeing it quickly so maybe something along lines of you know I think it's good to do the French resource and do the talking in English because we do have a lot of immersion teachers especially that aren't we do wrong in French yep and I think that you lost in tomorrow's like I know I will be um although I can definitely follow along but I think they will be lost if we didn't have this option available to them yeah I think just maybe because people are moving so fast right now we right instead of just mythology play say I'll walk through method is you place a our French resource walkthrough delivered in English right and I just think saying that it is also it's based on the English resource which if that's what you were looking for you can register for those webinars
