Prices
Prices shown in any of our documentation are school net and are effective September 1, 2004. School net reflects a 15% discount that is available to elementary, secondary schools, and School Boards. All others are not eligible to receive this discount. Prices are FOB Newmarket, Ontario (terms are net 30 days). Shipping charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. All orders are subject to shipping. THE PRICES LISTED ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
*Provincial tax added in Ontario only on non-book items, workbooks, & books with disc enclosed.

If you would like to place an order using your VISA, Amex, or MasterCard credit card, please include your number and the expiry date with your order.
Order Processing
Send all orders and follow-up inquiries regarding orders and invoices to: Pearson Canada, P.O. Box 335, Newmarket, Ontario L3Y 4X7.
For efficient processing of your order, submit the order early and include all of the following information:
- ISBN
- full title of the book
- author's name
- copyright date/edition
- all other identifying information that will help to expedite your order
- complete mailing address, including postal code, to be used in shipping books and complete billing address, if different
- method of shipment (If not specified, books will be shipped via fastest land freight available at reasonable cost. Note that the prices given are FOB Newmarket, Ontario.)
- date required/cancel date/school closure & re-open dates
- for orders placed by an individual, payment must be received before the order will be processed
Purchase Order Numbers
Orders to be invoiced to a Board of Education cannot be processed without an official Purchase Order Number.
Account Numbers
Customers who have an account with Pearson Canada will greatly expedite the processing of their orders by quoting their account number which is shown on every invoice.

Goods and Services Tax
Only government agencies (not schools, school boards or other publicly funded educational institutions) will be exempt from paying tax. However, any organization that is exempt must quote the appropriate exemption number when ordering to avoid being charged the GST. Prices do not include GST.
